Various components not working in Screen Space Camera mode

A number of things aren't working when the main camera is set to "Screen Space - Camera" mode.

- Dropdown contents don't align with the clicked component.

- The Ripple Manager does not align with the clicked component (ripples appear to come from off-screen).

- Some of the example list area components don't show their content (using "VerticalScrollLayoutElement" and "OverscrollConfig" scripts/classes.

I noticed you're not setting the camera on created top level "Dropdown Canvas" object. Should also check the "pixel perfect" setting (as dialogs etc are blurry) and adjust the plane distance to be correct (basically the same as main UI canvas settings).

I know you are probably busy, but we've had to stop working on the UI until this is fixed. If there's anyway you can point me to the right piece of code to correct the issue, then I can make a temporary fix until the next release.

Cheers!

Just another thing I noticed. The "Dropdown Canvas" object is not getting "pixel perfect" checked either way. Everything looks a lot better when it's checked.

Hello, are you still there?

Hi Darren,

Apologies for the delayed reply.

I'm currently working on fixes to ensure the components are all working properly in all render modes, but it's unfortunately a bit of a slow process.

If you send me an email (contact@materialunity.com) I can send you a patch for v1.1.5, which improves how the scaling is calculated, and may fix some of your issues :)

Second this as a critical bug. Using Version 1.1.6. Inputs don't scale correctly.

Just on non-screenspace scaling modes, or all modes?

EDIT: I worked it out. It'll be fixed in the next update :)
